Star Wars Armada: Converted Rebel Assault Frigate

Hey Folks,

So I've never been a fan of the Rebel MkII Assault Frigate as I've always prefered the Mk1. I then proceeded to cut my previous painted ship up (as I do...)

Oh and I painted some squadrons :)

That actually looks much better elongated. What did you use for the mid-section?

Hey Jamie. The connecting spar is the front half of one my space battleship Yamato EDF ships. It was perfect scale and fit wise.

The engines and some if the details are from ships from the same set as well.

It's now about as long as a Victory but oh well!

Those look great Jas'!

Thanks Adam :)

Are the crew up north into Armada as well yet?

Looks good! Fighters turned out great too. Black stands are definitely the way to go in Armada.

They might be but I wouldn't know...
student blues...lol

Thanks! I prefer the black stands as they make the repaints "pop"

Fair enough! It won't be forever :)

Nice little fleet there Jas :)
Im sure not every space ship would likely look the same... actual ships dont, especially not the capital ships.
i like the conversion mate

Can you share where to get a couple of the "space battleship Yamato EDF" models to use to make our own conversion? I love what you did with your Assault Frigate.

I, too, very much like this Assault Frigate conversion. I know had said that it was a Yamato kit that you used, but could you shed some light on what kit you specifically used

Any chance of getting one made to sell would love one very nicely done

Sorry guys missed your comments! I bought a box set with a heap of space battleship Yamato ships off it ages ago on ebay. Haven't seen it elsewhere sorry and don't have that packaging :(

And sorry - I don't do comics ions due to very limited hobby time :(
