Infinity: Nomad Corregidor Jurisdictional Command

Hey Folks,

My latest "ooh shiney" project: Nomads from Infinity by Corvus Belli.

Corregidor is one of the three ships that make up the Nomad nation. Descended from criminals they are the "muscle" and are sought after mercenaries as well as around hard bastards :)

Hanging around outside an old world school. Photos a bit average :(
Wildcat Link team. These guys and gals pack Combi Rifles and Light flamethrowers! Mean. I do need two more including some heavy weapons though.
Intruder with Combi Rifle. This guy is spec ops and has Thermal Optic camo so you can't see him...until he "decloaks" and assainates you! (Think Ghost in the Shell, but no need to get naked lol) Could not resist painting a skull face on his mask :)
Aguciles Hacker. She is a light infantry trooper and I am looking to get enough Agucile to form another link team. Jamie and I went halves in the new Operation Ice Storm starter set for Infinity so I will get another three there.
Hellcat Drop Trooper. She is also armed with a Combi Rifle and can drop into the enemy back field to raise some mayhem.

I must say that Corvus Belli models are simply some of the nicest models I have ever painted. I really love the design as it's so close to Mass Effect. The paint scheme is inspired by Cerberus (one of ME's protagonists)

I'm not sure on the basing though. I might replace with custom bases from somewhere.

Cheers
Jason

Those look great Jas. I too am tempted by Infinity. Great models if the system is a bit chunky, but I've only played once...
Reminds me, what happened to our Fallout campaign? I might even finish painting the guys and gals. They're staring at me with drug addled hate right now!

Thanks Adam. I also though infinity was pretty clunky abs it is in some ways but once you get into it it's not too bad. Plus version 3 is out soon which simplifies a lot

Fallout is still there. Just on my busted computer which curently won't Start :(. Have some of it on Drive though so all is not lost!

I have the fallout stuff...

I didn't find Infinity clunky when I played it.....but all those rules. 100s of them. Its like playing Lw Fowl but worse. I think it is fine if we use quickstart or escalation rules to reduce the number of rules to learn and then just add things in once we understand the core.

Awesome! Glad to know fallout is not dead :)

After watching many, many battle report videos I'm thinking infinity is not too bad. I've played worse! Try any GW game towards the end of its life cycle with all the FAQs for the rules AND all the armies. One thing I like about Infinity is that there are very few faction specific rules.

Yeah well said Jamie, not clunky just tons of em!
Luckily I need another 28mm skirmish ruleset!
Also we need to rpg!

I was quite keen to do an RPG with miniatures. Either scifi or sword and sorcery. We have enough stuff between us that we totally could have a wide and varied selection of models for the GM to use...

RPG, you Say? The latest version of D&D is free for the basic version (first hit, and all that), also have that C15th thing.
